From artwork to App Store Connect
- Choose the placement before composing. A wide header and a 3:2 search image need different crops.
- Upload artwork you have permission to use. Keep the focal point away from edges and inspect small-screen readability.
- Download the PNG, check it in the creative asset checker, then upload the matching asset to App Store Connect’s Asset Library.
- Review Apple’s placement preview, metadata, rights, and submission requirements. A valid file is not an approval guarantee.

Common questions
What size is an App Store header image?
Apple specifies 3840×1646 pixels for header images. Search images use a 3:2 ratio, from 1920×1280 to 3840×2560. Universal artwork is 5244×2950 pixels. Verify current specifications in App Store Connect before uploading.
Does the download include transparency?
No. The generator flattens the composition onto your chosen background and exports an RGB PNG without an alpha channel. Run the downloaded file through the creative asset checker before upload.
Is my uploaded artwork sent to a server?
The image is decoded, composed, and exported locally in your browser. Opening Studio is a separate workflow; your local image is not automatically transferred.
Are these Apple-approved templates?
No. The starter colors and layouts are design starting points. Correct dimensions and encoding do not guarantee App Review acceptance or eligibility for a placement.
