Google specifies 1024 × 500 pixels, JPEG or 24-bit PNG without alpha. Check the downloaded file; a correct-looking preview does not establish its format or transparency.
Preview crops and the video overlay
Keep the important subject away from cutoff zones and inspect the graphic in its intended placement. The preview-video surface can add a play overlay; this is a composition check, not a universal pixel safe-zone guarantee.
Compare an actual localized edit
Use the same source and change only the headline. Check wrapping, focal point, export dimensions, and whether the document remains editable. Do not infer localization quality from a language-count claim.
