Keyword counts use Unicode code points and UTF-8 bytes. Apple's detailed reference says 100 bytes; its product-page guide says 100 characters. Non-ASCII text needs a final check in App Store Connect. This is not a ranking or approval prediction.

Turn your app's benefits into store copy
Draft and refine localized metadata in the ASO Copy workflow, then check every field before submission.
One check for the fields that travel together
Check a locale as a set instead of treating every counter as a separate task. Length is only a starting point: the copy still needs to be accurate, readable and relevant to the app.

Common questions
What is the App Store promotional-text limit?
Apple allows up to 170 characters. This field can communicate timely app news and does not affect App Store search ranking.
Are App Store keywords limited by characters or bytes?
Apple's product-page guide says 100 characters, while its detailed Connect reference says 100 bytes. This tool shows Unicode code-point and UTF-8 byte counts, flags either concern, and asks you to verify the locale in App Store Connect.
Does passing mean my app will be approved?
No. This is a local length and formatting check, not a review of trademarks, claims, policy, translation quality or App Review eligibility.
